Duke University Medical Center Department of Community and Family Medicine

Duke University Medical Center asked us to create online education aimed at increasing patient safety and quality improvement for medical and physician assistants, nursing and other students. Our multimedia team translated educational designs provided by professors into six interactive modules for self-study as well as for online group discussions and virtual teams.

To create the web-based CBT, we built two instructional modules to serve as templates for the remaining four. Interactive modules coded using HTML and Flash are primarily text-based and contain illustrations with examples and case studies. Each module is designed to link to assessment tests within the content system managed by Duke. Identical modules were developed for CD delivery.
