As a web design firm in Raleigh, NC, we believe in being a valuable asset to our community. And we can't think of a better way to make that happen than to give what we love (and are good at): web design and web development.
In fact, giving comes from the top down in our company. Our president, Drew Robison, chooses to participate in various association events and serve on boards throughout the region because he wants to make a difference in the business community.
BP Studios has been very involved with the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities ("TLC") for over 10 years. TLC has been serving Triangle area children and families with disabilities through outreach, respite care, therapy services, early intervention work, and programs for children since 1969.
We proudly produce their client corporate website at tammylynncenter.org and support their fund raising efforts. We have donated our time and skills, pro bono, to redevelop and design A Toast to the Triangle site.
A Toast to the Triangle has been TLC's largest event for 28 years. This exquisite event brings together food and wine connoisseurs from all over the region to celebrate local culinary talent. By creating a website for TLC that allows them to manage this huge event, BP Studios makes it possible to satisfy hundreds of people through this signature gala and for TLC to raise the money necessary to carry on their philanthropic work.
But our pro bono work for the Tammy Lynn Center doesn't stop there! We support The Ride for Tammy Lynn and the Tammy Lynn Golf Classic (even showing up to play a round to help). We also design the collateral for A Toast to the Triangle each year such as brochures, Toast tickets, etc.
You would think that keeps us too busy, in addition to our other clients, but BP Studios also helps the North Carolina Baptist Men and, specifically, the Disaster Relief group. While BP Studios has no religious affiliations and welcomes working with all, we have not been able to deny the progressive and forward-thinking work the Baptist Men have been performing in regards to disaster relief. Our president donates his technical expertise to them pro bono in the interest of seeing a disaster relief mobile app become available to citizens affected by natural disaster everywhere.
We truly love giving back to Raleigh and joyously support, pro bono, The Raleigh Ringers. This delightful group has been bringing unique and creative music to the region for years and we have been their web design and web development firm for 10 years.
But before you think that we only volunteer in Raleigh, NC, know that we also support the Slippery Rock University Foundation in Pennsylvania. For 3 years we have been providing pro bono work for the foundation, which supports the 125 year old university.
Throughout the years we've also been proud to support the Durham Rescue Mission, Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Special Olympics North Carolina, to name a few.
Our company donates a significant amount of our time to nonprofit organizations because we truly want to see, help, and be a part of something great. A community that helps each other and supports each other can only grow to be big and vibrant. We want to be a leader in the charge and we find significant value, beyond our checkbook, in supporting nonprofits of all sizes, persuasions, believes, and missions.
To us, supporting organizations that make their communities great is the sign of true community service.
